BCOXIB-60 TAB
ETORICOXIB 60MG
BCOXIB-60 TAB is a tablet of etoricoxib 60 mg, a selective COX-2 inhibitor. It is used for the symptomatic relief of osteoarthritis, and is the strength normally used for long-term management of joint pain and stiffness where a once-daily NSAID with reduced gastric impact is wanted.
01
Benefits
- Selective COX-2 inhibition delivers anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect with substantially less gastroduodenal ulceration than non-selective NSAIDs.
- Once-daily dosing suits the long-term management of osteoarthritis and improves adherence.
- Does not inhibit platelet function, so it does not add to bleeding risk the way non-selective NSAIDs do.
- Effective against the joint pain, swelling and morning stiffness of osteoarthritis.
- A useful option in patients with a history of NSAID-related gastric intolerance, though not in those with active ulceration.
