BESTOVITA A2Z TAB S/P
MULTIVITAMIN + ANTIOXIDANT + MULTIMINERAL + VITAMIN B12 TAB
BESTOVITA A2Z TAB S/P is a multivitamin and multimineral tablet with added antioxidants and vitamin B12. It is used as a nutritional supplement where dietary intake is inadequate, during convalescence, in restricted or unbalanced diets, and in states of increased demand. It supplements the diet and does not treat any disease.
01
Benefits
- Provides a broad base of vitamins and minerals in one tablet, covering the common gaps in a restricted or unbalanced diet.
- B12 supplementation is useful in vegetarian and vegan diets, where dietary sources are limited and deficiency is common.
- The B group supports normal energy metabolism and nerve function, and deficiency commonly presents as fatigue.
- Antioxidant vitamins and trace elements support normal immune function and tissue repair during convalescence.
- Once-daily dosing is simple to sustain over the weeks or months that correcting a dietary gap requires.
02
Side effects
Not everyone gets these. Most are mild and settle as the course finishes.
Common
- Nausea or stomach upset, particularly on an empty stomach
- Bright yellow discolouration of the urine from riboflavin
- Constipation or loose stools
- Metallic or altered taste
Less common
- Flushing or warmth of the skin from niacin
- Headache
- Darkening of the stool from the iron component where present
- Skin rash or itching
Stop and get medical help if any of these occur
- Swelling of the face, lips or tongue, or difficulty breathing
- Widespread rash or hives
- Persistent vomiting or severe abdominal pain
- Numbness or tingling of the hands and feet on prolonged high-dose use
- Accidental overdose, particularly in a child, where the iron content can be dangerous
03
Precautions
- A dietary supplement, not a medicine, and not a substitute for a balanced diet or for investigating the cause of fatigue.
- Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not take alongside another multivitamin — fat-soluble vitamins A and D accumulate and can reach toxic levels.
- Keep well out of reach of children. Accidental iron overdose in a small child is a medical emergency.
- Take after food to reduce nausea, and separate from tetracycline or fluoroquinolone antibiotics and from thyroid hormone by at least two hours, as minerals impair their absorption.
- Use with caution in haemochromatosis, in renal impairment, and in patients on warfarin, where vitamin K content may affect control.
- Yellow urine is expected and harmless.
- Use in pregnancy only on medical advice — pregnancy requires a purpose-formulated preparation, and high-dose vitamin A is teratogenic.
