CARITONE SYP 200ML

UTERINE TONIC FOR WOMEN (AYURVEDIC)

CARITONE SYP 200ML is an ayurvedic uterine tonic syrup formulated for women's reproductive health. It is traditionally used for irregular or painful menstruation, excessive or scanty flow, white discharge, and general debility associated with menstrual disorders. It is a traditional preparation rather than a conventional pharmaceutical medicine.

01

Benefits

  • Traditionally used to regulate the menstrual cycle and ease the cramping of dysmenorrhoea.
  • Used in ayurvedic practice for leucorrhoea and for the general weakness that accompanies heavy or prolonged menstrual loss.
  • Herbal uterine tonics of this type are long established in Indian practice and are widely accepted by patients.
  • The syrup form is easily taken and suits use over the weeks that traditional regimens usually run.
  • Often used alongside iron and nutritional supplementation in women with menstrual blood loss.

Precautions

  • A traditional ayurvedic preparation. It is not a substitute for gynaecological assessment, and menstrual symptoms should be diagnosed rather than treated empirically over long periods.
  • Contraindicated in pregnancy unless specifically advised by a qualified practitioner — several traditional uterine herbs affect uterine tone.
  • Abnormal bleeding, bleeding between periods, post-menopausal bleeding or a sudden change in pattern needs medical investigation, not a tonic.
  • Use with caution in diabetes; syrup preparations carry a significant sugar load unless stated otherwise.
  • Tell the prescriber about all conventional medicines being taken — herbal preparations can interact, and this is often not disclosed.
  • Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to any herbal constituent.
  • Shake before use, keep tightly closed, and use within the period stated after opening.
