CETROSS SYP
CETRIZINE 5MG
CETROSS SYP is an oral syrup of cetirizine 5 mg, a second-generation antihistamine. It is used for allergic rhinitis, hay fever, chronic urticaria and the itching of allergic skin conditions, in children and in adults who cannot swallow tablets, with the dose set by age and weight.
01
Benefits
- The liquid form allows dosing by age and weight, which a fixed-strength tablet cannot.
- Blocks histamine H1 receptors, relieving sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes and skin itching.
- Once-daily dosing gives cover across the full day.
- Substantially less sedating than the first-generation antihistamines traditionally used in children.
- Useful in childhood atopic dermatitis and urticaria where itching disturbs sleep.
