MULTIVITAMIN + MINERALS + ANTIOXIDENT + GINSENG SG
MVITPLEX SG CAP M/C is a soft gelatin capsule combining multivitamins, minerals, antioxidants and ginseng. It is used as a nutritional supplement in fatigue, poor dietary intake, convalescence and periods of increased physical or mental demand, with ginseng added as a traditional adaptogen.
01
Benefits
- Provides a broad base of vitamins and minerals in one capsule, covering the common gaps in an unbalanced diet.
- Antioxidant vitamins and trace elements support normal immune function and tissue repair.
- Ginseng is traditionally used as an adaptogen for fatigue and reduced stamina.
- The soft gelatin capsule with an oil base supports absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins.
- Once-daily dosing is simple to sustain over the weeks a nutritional gap takes to close.

Precautions
- Ginseng can lower blood glucose — patients on insulin or oral hypoglycaemics need monitoring.
- Ginseng may increase bleeding risk and interacts with warfarin; avoid alongside anticoagulants without advice, and stop before planned surgery.
- Ginseng can raise blood pressure and cause insomnia — avoid in uncontrolled hypertension, and take in the morning rather than at night.
- Do not exceed the stated dose or take alongside another multivitamin; fat-soluble vitamins A and D accumulate and can reach toxic levels.
- Keep out of reach of children — any iron content is dangerous in accidental childhood overdose.
- Take after food, and separate from tetracycline or fluoroquinolone antibiotics and thyroid hormone by at least two hours.
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice; ginseng is not recommended in pregnancy.
- Persistent fatigue needs investigation rather than indefinite supplementation.
