NUDURA PLUS TAB GREEN PVC
DICLOFENAC 50MG + PARACETAMOL 325MG
NUDURA PLUS TAB GREEN PVC is a tablet of diclofenac 50 mg with paracetamol 325 mg. It is used for pain and inflammation — musculoskeletal injury, arthritis flares, dental pain, dysmenorrhoea and post-operative pain — combining an NSAID with a central analgesic.
01
Benefits
- Diclofenac inhibits cyclo-oxygenase, reducing prostaglandin production and the swelling and inflammatory pain at the site of injury.
- Paracetamol raises the pain threshold centrally, allowing useful analgesia at a lower NSAID burden.
- Effective across a broad range of acute and chronic painful inflammatory conditions.
- Onset of relief is typically within an hour of a dose.
- A widely used and well-characterised combination.
02

Precautions
- Diclofenac carries a higher cardiovascular risk than several other NSAIDs. Contraindicated in established ischaemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease and moderate to severe heart failure.
- Contraindicated in active peptic ulcer disease or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Contraindicated in severe hepatic or renal impairment, and in NSAID hypersensitivity including aspirin-sensitive asthma.
- Check total daily paracetamol intake across all products before adding this one.
- Avoid alcohol during the course, which raises both gastrointestinal bleeding and liver injury risk.
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy; use earlier in pregnancy and while breastfeeding only on medical advice.
- Use with care in the elderly and alongside anticoagulants, corticosteroids or other NSAIDs.
- Take with or after food, at the lowest effective dose for the shortest period.
