ZINCOVIZ SYRUP 200ML

MULTIVITAMIN + MINERALS + ZINC

ZINCOVIZ SYRUP 200ML is an oral syrup combining multivitamins, minerals and zinc. It is used as a nutritional supplement in children, the elderly and convalescents where dietary intake is inadequate, and as an adjunct in childhood diarrhoea.

01

Benefits

  • The liquid form allows dosing by age and weight and suits those who cannot swallow tablets.
  • Zinc supplementation reduces the duration and severity of childhood diarrhoea and is recommended alongside oral rehydration.
  • Provides a broad base of vitamins and minerals during periods of growth or convalescence.
  • Supports immune function, appetite and wound healing where deficiency is contributing.
  • Palatable syrups are accepted more readily by children, which matters for sustained use.
02

  • Continued failure to gain weight despite supplementation
03

Precautions

  • A dietary supplement, not a medicine, and not a substitute for adequate feeding or for assessing a child who is not growing.
  • In childhood diarrhoea, zinc is an adjunct to oral rehydration — rehydration remains the priority and this does not replace it.
  • Dose by age and weight on the prescriber's instruction, using the measure supplied.
  • Do not combine with another multivitamin or zinc preparation without checking the total daily intake.
  • Prolonged high-dose zinc causes copper deficiency.
  • Separate from tetracycline and fluoroquinolone antibiotics and from iron by at least two hours.
  • Keep out of reach of children, and use with caution in diabetes because of the sugar content.
  • Shake well before each dose and keep tightly closed.
