ZINCOVIZ TAB ALU ALU

MULTIVITAMIN + ZINC + MINERALS + METHYLCOBALAMINE

ZINCOVIZ TAB ALU ALU is a tablet combining multivitamins, zinc, minerals and methylcobalamin. It is used as a nutritional supplement where dietary intake is inadequate, during convalescence, and where zinc and vitamin B12 deficiency are likely to coexist.

01

Benefits

  • Provides a broad base of vitamins and minerals alongside a therapeutic zinc content.
  • Methylcobalamin is the active coenzyme form of vitamin B12, useful in vegetarian diets, in the elderly and in long-term metformin users.
  • Zinc supports immune function, wound healing, growth and taste perception.
  • The B group supports normal energy metabolism and nerve function.
  • Once-daily dosing is simple to sustain over the weeks a nutritional gap takes to close.
02

Side effects

Not everyone gets these. Most are mild and settle as the course finishes.

Common
  • Nausea or stomach upset, particularly on an empty stomach
  • Metallic taste from the zinc
  • Bright yellow discolouration of the urine from riboflavin
  • Loose stools or constipation
Less common
  • Flushing or warmth of the skin from niacin
  • Headache
  • Abdominal cramping
  • Skin rash or itching
Stop and get medical help if any of these occur
  • Swelling of the face, lips or tongue, or difficulty breathing
  • Widespread rash or hives
  • Persistent vomiting or severe abdominal pain
  • Unusual fatigue or repeated infections, which may indicate copper deficiency from prolonged zinc use
  • Numbness or tingling of the hands and feet on prolonged high-dose use
03

Precautions

  • A dietary supplement, not a medicine, and not a substitute for a balanced diet.
  • Prolonged high-dose zinc causes copper deficiency — do not continue indefinitely without review.
  • Do not exceed the stated dose or take alongside another multivitamin; fat-soluble vitamins accumulate.
  • Zinc and other minerals impair absorption of tetracycline and fluoroquinolone antibiotics and of thyroid hormone — separate by at least two hours.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Take after food to reduce nausea, and note that yellow urine is expected and harmless.
  • Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only on medical advice.
